PeruMin is the one event on the Peruvian calendar that is not to be missed. It occurs bi-annually in the city of Arequipa in Southern Peru and attracts more than 60,000 participants, with over 1,400 stands present- the event is enormous!
To get the most out of Perumin, you really do need the full week of attendance. Between the stands, the technical presentations, the meetings organised during the event and the social aspects each evening, it really is quite a demanding few days.
PeruMin is the one time you can guarantee that the 'who’s who' of the Peruvian Mining industry will be in the same place at the same time. It is a great place to catch up with friends and colleagues, and discuss the latest news in the industry.
The event has a mix of trade show and technical aspects. The key activities that are enjoyed most at PeruMin, are the technical sessions; three full days of technical presentations highlighting the latest in innovation and technology.
PeruMin is held in Arequipa (away from Lima – where many of the attendees live). The reason being is that the vast majority of the attendees are away from home, and that makes it more probable that the events each evening are well attended.
